Lush Lashes offers an innovative new treatment that lengthens, thickens and gives a curled finish to your eyelashes. They are applied by a process where one lash is applied to one natural lash using black glue making the lashes appear darker, longer and fuller. They are semi-permanent meaning they can be worn 24/7 and take away the hassle of applying mascara everyday.

The lashes are made from a synthetic polyester material.

The lashes will last the full natural lash cycle of the lashes they are attached to, provided the correct aftercare is followed. All the natural lashes are at different stages of their life cycle at any given time so will fall out at different times when they will be replaced by the growth of a new lash. The cycle is between 6 to 12 weeks so by this time your lash extensions will have come out but this will vary from person to person. Lush lashes lash extensions can be worn on a continuous basis requiring maintenance every 3-5 weeks. Lashes can also be worn as a one off for a special occasion and can be left to fall out with the natural lashes or professionally removed by myself.

It is not necessary for you to have your lashes tinted prior to the application because both the adhesive used and lashes that are applied are black, giving a dark finish to the lashes. However, if your natural lashes are very fair it may be advisable to have a tint to make lashes more visible to me when applying the lashes, and also making the full set that bit more darker too. Tints should be carried out at least 24 hours before your appointment.

The service usually takes approximately two hours hours for the first set. This will include a full consultation to determine the look you wish to achieve. The infills take between 45-60 minutes.

The procedure is completely pain-free and so relaxing that many clients fall asleep. You will be lying down with your eyes closed whilst I apply lashes one by one to your natural lashes.

The lashes come in varying lengths, thicknesses and curls so I can design lashes that suit your specific needs and the look you wish to achieve.

The lashes are low maintenance with only a few simple procedures needing to be followed which are listed below. Contact lenses must be removed during the procedure but can be put back in afterwards and worn throughout the life of your lashes. All other eye make-up except mascara can be worn as normal with your lash extensions. However, many people don’t feel they need to wear as much make-up because the lashes give the appearance of more open, defined and lifted eyes. Mechanical and heated eyelash curlers cannot be used because they can damage the bond of the lash extensions causing them to fall out prematurely. However, lashes come in varying curls giving the appearance of curlier lashes removing the need for eyelash curlers. Lush Lashes has a specially formulated sealer that should be applied to the lashes to re-seal the bond of the adhesive, stopping water penetration as well as adding a gloss finish to the lashes. You shouldn’t need to wear mascara with your lash extensions. However, if you want to, you can use a recommended mascara, which is specially formulated for use with extensions. Other mascaras on the market may contain ingredients that could affect the bond of the lashes causing them to fall out prematurely. Please ask for more information.

No, as long as the correct after care is followed. The lash extensions are bonded directly onto the natural lash 1mm from the base so it doesn’t touch the skin. This means it does not interfere with the natural lash cycle allowing it to grow and fall out as normal.

Yes, it is specially formulated for use around the eye area. Your eyes remain closed throughout the procedure and the adhesive is only applied to the natural lash and doesn’t touch the skin.

Yes. They can be removed easily for you by myself. However you must not attempt to remove them yourself as it may cause damage to the natural lashes if the correct procedure is not followed.

The lash extensions can only be applied to a natural eyelash. Therefore this treatment is not suitable for someone who has partial or complete loss of their natural eyelashes. For customers who have finished chemotherapy treatment, they must wait to have some hair re-growth before a consultation can take place.
